Battletech compatible large turret variant: Gauss House
The Gauss House is a long-range ballistic nightmare. Sporting dual light gauss rifles, this long-range heavy hitter will make your opponent think twice before offering a line-of-sight. Reaching out 34 HEXes, this monster will provide more than adequate cover fire while your units tactically position themselves. To prevent this unit from being overwhelming, check out the house rules below.
Largest of the Level 1 series, the large turret brings the pain! Matched to the most menacing medium size to heavy mechs, these standalone units offer great suppressive fire to a defensive position. Employed on both ends of battlefield, these units, lower in BV, provide a great alternative for filling the gap with a light mech. These units have sufficient organic armor to last well into the skirmish. Equipped as a C3 Command Unit, these smarter units can control 3 C3 slave units (Small / Medium Turrets). Sporting their own power supply, these units use a compact footprint and exhibit a reduced tactical weakness, but they cannot deliver a full alpha-strike without augmented power.
